High heat intensity

It still has high specific strength in the range of 150℃～500℃, and can work for a long time at the temperature of 450～500℃. The working temperature of titanium alloy can reach 500℃

High strength

 

 

The density of titanium alloy is generally about 4.51g/cm3, which is only 60% of steel. Some high-strength titanium alloys exceed the strength of many alloy structural steels , so the specific strength (strength/density) of titanium alloys is much greater than that of other metal structures material, which can produce parts with high unit strength, good rigidity and light weight

 

Good corrosion resistance

Titanium alloys are particularly resistant to pitting corrosion, acid corrosion, and stress corrosion

Good low temperature performance

GR5 titanium alloy can still maintain its mechanical properties at low and ultra-low temperatures . It can also maintain a certain degree of plasticity at -253°C

High chemical activity

Titanium has high chemical activity , and has strong chemical reactions with O2, CO, N2, CO2, H2, ammonia, water vapor, etc. in the atmosphere.
